I was very impressed to see how the producer group in Peru who make our cosy felt slippers are recycling their plastic and plastic bottles.   They have spent several years collecting all of the plastic bottles they have used and then filling them with any non-recyclable plastics i.e. wrappings etc. until they are solid.

 

The plastic bottles are then placed inside a wooden framework and filled with earth, making an adobe wall or bench.
